Centaurs
Chiron (also known as Cheiron) was the most well known Centaur, for his humbleness, refines, medical and teaching capabilities. He lived on Mount Pelion, Thessaly, where he was the teacher of numerous heroes, creatures, Gods and Goddess. These included Achilles and Aesculapius. Chiron was brave and loyal, as this was shone when Heracles asked his father (Zeus) to free Prometheus (a Titan) from the Underworld. However Zeus would only oblige if someone else would immolate in their replace, Chiron then step forward. In honour to bring Prometheus back, but also because he was in extricating pain. As Hercules had inadvertently shot an arrow at him that was covered in Hydra’s (a monster) blood.
